I was never a big R Kelly fan in the first place, but that whole mess made listening to him even more unbearable.

I'm also not a big fan of rap, mostly because of the violent content. I like rap artists with a positive message, but I just can't get into the hardcore stuff. I don't want my money to support that lifestyle.

I feel ya but there's more degrading of women than anything.I bought Dj quik's rythm- a-lism which is supposed to be his upbeat funky party album but it's bitch this, ho that, i don;t loved a whore on almost every song.
I can;t stand that shit anymore. When i was 15 i loved gangsta rap; now i feel totally different. There's not much positive rap though even by the so called conciece rappers who preach homophobia and to a certain extent dogma.
There's alot of great hip hop though which is very creative and predominatly positive.
Listen to Rip the jacker by Canibus; it contains some of the best writing ever in the history of mankind; i kid you not.

True, but he did hurt alot of people by doing that, family, his parents, brother and sister, band and close friends, not too mention his child. Accident or suicide can be debated all day, but in the end he did hurt alot of people.

good point

not really. Can;t compare that to beating your spouse, pedophilia or rape.

no, but it their point was it's a mistake to think that suicide only hurts yourself. It hurts everyone who cares about you.

Even though he pees on people, I still find myself digging some R. Kelly... but the stuff he did pre-pee. Like all that "12 Play" and "Summer Bunnies" stuff is classic. And that joint he dropped in 1995 with "You Remind Me of Something?" Man... hold up! (LOL)

I have every kelly album; they're mostly excellent, some juvenile song though; 'i like the crotch on you', WTF sad

I go with R. Kelly up until "The R" he dropped back in 1999. I haven't bought anything of his since then. I can't bear that "Trapped in the Closet" stuff. It makes me wanna hurl!

Several. I'm not an angel or a prude but the stuff I do in my private life may not always be moral but it's all legal. My top vote goes to R. Kelly and any other person who commits a crime against children.
