Jamie was HILARIOUS on Tavis Smiley a few nights ago I dig him as an actor/comedian, but I wish he'd use his "music" for something more than shit like "Unpredictable"

I saw him on Oprah though and he just really turned me off. Just SO cocky and full of himself. He even brought all his friends/entourage w/ him on the show and they all talked about what a cad he is.

To see him sing though, even though he is clearly talented, I have had a difficult time accepting, because I remember him as the In Living Color guy primarily.

I don't understand why anyone gets worked into a lather over Jamie.

He's talented, but I don't like the way he uses his talent.
He's full of himself, but most males in Hollywood with a team full of "yes" people tend to be.
He's cross eyed and has a mouth that houses one long tooth on the top and one long tooth on the bottom, but some still swoon cuz good money excuses bad looks (just axe Kid Rock).

To me, all of this amounts to an annoyance at worst. Why get so annoyed by somebody? Worse things have happened to Hollywood and the music biz.

Sure, Jamie has a big ego, but name an Oscar winner that doesn't.

He's a passable singer, a better-than-average comic, a talented impersonator, and a proven actor. He's been in the game for over a decade and a half. He's an entertainer, in the mode (not mold) of Sammy Davis, Jr.

I didn't care for him as a comedian because he's too damn silly. When he started doing music and it was shit hop, I really couldn't stand him because he's just another boring dead ass to keep the bullshit genre living.
