We need to remember that "celebs" are really just people, and they drink and curse and get stupid alot, i think the biggest problem i have is not Britney,lindsay,paris all drink and get stupid, its the fact that we follow it all so closely. I bought his two English albums and even saw him in concert in 2002.He was really going places with his career....hit songs,concerts,even movies.But since he married J-Lo,he seems to be over-shadowed by her.I don't even hear about him in the media anymore,unless it's about him going to an awards show with her.He's incredibly talented and deserves more fame of his own.

Still few latin artists can be sucessful in the English market. Shakira's crossover was dreadul. So much was lost in the attempt to write songs in English. Her poetry and magic was so subdued.

I love Marc Anthonys spanish songs but am not too crazy about the english ones.

Yeah the truth is many Latin Stars are bigger than americas top sellers. Artists like Shakira,Ricky,Paulina,Marc and many others have worldwide success that an american can only dream of, i read the other day that Paulina Rubio had crossed the 20 million albums sold mark in her career and Shakira at this pace for her age, would rank amongst the top 5 artists of all time if she continues on this pace over the next decade. Though these artists all had commercial success with "english" albums none of them suffered in the latin market at all, all of them are still on the top of their game. And true Marc musically has laid sort of low the last year or two, but if he released a latin album tomorrow it would sell a few million with no question just based on the loyality in latin market and his fan base.
