RipHer2Shreds	I know this song is loved here, but I think it's one of her worst singles. I remember that episode of Video Soul and I laughed when she was done. I prefer Teena's uptempo numbers, where her affected vocal style isn't front and center.

Although I disagree with you, I've heard far worse. Rick James once said that Ooh La La was THE worst song Teena ever written. And even Rick was shock to see THAT song go #1 on Billboard R&B charts. BTW, Teena acknowledge that the song wasn't her best, but her fans love it anyway. biggrin

Teena will always be my # female singer in the world. She deserves way more recognition than she has.

She can stand up there and sing her ABC's and Mary Had A Little Lamb and I will be there to see her.

I saw her in Detroit last summer and she has still got it guitar
