my favs are his self titled 1978 debut, & 1983's "friends" are my favorite albums... a great guitarist (better live than on cd...)

I'd slept on Larry's talent for years. I hadn't really given him much thought (let alone, props) until I saw him at the Capital Jazz Fest in DC, a few months ago.
He appeared with the rest of Fourplay. He tore it up. I stopped getting their albums after Lee Ritenour left, thinking LC was a lightweight. Larry tore into this blues number toward the end of their set that left me speechless. He's great. In fact, I'll be listening to his stuff to steal licks from, in the near future. *Mwoohoohoohahahahaha..." *hiccup* Erp. (Excuse my edit...)
