Tina's Prayer from Whats Love Got To Do With It? OST.

She OWNED Al Green's "Lets Stay 2ghether" too.

The version in the movie was killing me ("Tina's Prayer"... or was it "Tina's Wish"??) but when I finally got hold of it, it didn't have the same punch. hrmph

Has to be 'Nutbush City Limits' - How come this classic hasn't been mentioned yet? eek Great dirty down-home funk track.

Then 'River Deep, Mountain High'.

I dislike most of her '80s schlock, but can be partial to 'Private Dancer', 'We Don't Need Another Hero' and especially 'Steamy Windows'.

I was ready to tell you to check my post, because I thought I mentioned Nutbush. I forgot it, but I do love River Deep... It was one of my picks was well!

'Golden Eye' was good too ...

But would have been better if Shirley Bassey had sung it. She rules the Bond songs imo. smile

I LOVE TINA!

I'm glad people are responding to this one. This woman's catalogue covers the spectrum of good music...from funk to r&B to pop to disco to rock 'n roll.
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I consider Tina Turner the most consensual and loved artists ever. I've never seen, read or heard someone being negative or questioning her talent!

She's a real artist.

Both are correct.

The original title is from the early 70's, and the movie's version is called "Tina's Wish" nod

The 1st one is raw as bloody meat would get nod the latter is angrier though woot!

hmmm for me,it's a tie between "Private Dancer" (a beautifully haunting song with some nice saxophone) and "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)".
