Okay, so I watched SNL this past weekend with musical guests AFI. The lead singer sports a Gloria Swanson-type bobbed haircut, circa 1932, and has a rather feminine swagger. I'm not saying it's a bad thing... but what gives? Are they a gay band or is it just their gimmick to stand-out? As for the music, I can't really say I liked it or didn't like it, but the appearance got my attention.

From what a friend told me, the lead singer is openly Bi. They've been around for a while now, and have been some of the early adopters of the emo scene.. Used to be a lil more goth and heavy, but I like them. Sing the Sorrow (I think thats the name of it) is a great cd.. Their newest cd is pretty solid too.

It's the first one I ever bought from them and I love it. Love like winter is the shit and so is Miss Murder. It's a great album!
