Did anyone cop the recent Brand New Heavies i saw that BNH reunited with N'Dea Davenport and was wondering if any Heavies' fans in here copped it and what they thought. i have high expectations based on the first two albums (not counting the collab album with the rappers) and N'Dea being back but i haven't heard much except about it being at Starbucks and a VIBE review that talked about weak songwriting. VIBE is so not credible to me, so just wanted to know if anyone here has it and what yall thought

I got it but sometimes I forget I even have it because I dont play it. It's okay but not as great as Brother Sister or the BNH album. Even Shelter became a favorite. Maybe I haven't given this one a chance but I've listened to it in its entirety several times but it didnt leave a hard imprint. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

i was curious about Shelter because the band was the same, but i just didn't want to hear Siedah on the vocals with them.

I liked Siedah even though her voice can be annoying but I was really surprised by how much I ended up enjoying that album. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I like it, fun album for the most part. Some songs are kinda empty feeling but it's cool...
