"Friday Night Videos" was great. I used to watch them on Friday nights and then switch the channel and watch "Night Tracks" afterwards.

Oh yeah! I do remember FNV!! I used to watch it when I was a teenager, and do you remember that special Grafitti Bridge show where they had Ingrid Chavez and Robin Power as co-hosts?

Thank God for The Tube Network for bringing back music videos to television and besides they love Prince!! They play videos such as "Raspberry Beret", "Kiss", "Cream", "Musicology", very often.

Yelsiap is referring to the cable channel, The Tube. We had it for about a week before they yanked it off a week ago. confused

AHHHHH the memories. I was the type of kid that tried to
stay up late on Friday's to watch this show.

My earliest memories...

when a lot of WWF wrestlers use to host the show when the WWF was the thing to watch in the 80's.

I watched the premiere that showed "Beat It" and other stuff like "Electric Ave.", but afterward watched 'New York Hot Tracks' instead which was on at the same time in New York City. They showed videos by Prince, Rick James, Shalamar, The Mary Jane Girls, etc. that 'Friday Night Videos' wouldn't show.
