Glad to see Nelly Furtado's Say It Right is so successful

SIR is rapidly turning into a MULTI-FORMAT SMASH, and has the second-biggest bullet at pop radio at the moment. It is also taking off at CHR/Rhythmic. Combined with strong downloads, it sits at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. I hope this track goes all the way to #1.

And...it's a pop song being played on pop radio - imagine! lol

Actually she is Canadian - her parents are Portuguese.

She is, but technically she wasn't born there. We Canadians must claim her as our own otherwise it's just Sarah McLachlan and Bryan Adams. lol

My sister told me "Say It Right" was the reason she wanted the album (for Christmas).

Kind of interesting how it's climbing the charts slowly. I assume they released "Maneater" as a single here because I noticed it played on Sirius hits channel a lot, but was that a hit in the US?

It sounds like the ultimate club/dance song. I can just picture the beaming lights and dark corners of a huge club just coverd and swaying with tons of partying people. It has all of the perfect elements for the enviroment, almost a bit techno sounding but pure club excitement for the beginning of an all-nighter at the club and on the town on a wild and crazy Friday or Saturday night! Come on, lets all party the night away!

It only went to #16 in the U.S. confused I like that song more than "Say It Right". The "Maneater" remix was big in the clubs.

I keep READING about this REMIX for Maneater but anytime I ever heard this song at the club, it was the same shit with an extended instrumental beginning. confused

ow, nice video. is it just me or does Tim look more human again, lol.

in fact, he looks pretty f'in hot here.

i've always thought he was cute, but once he got so pumped up and so
big n muscled i thought he looked horrible.

he seems to have toned it down now and looks just drool

sorry, gay rant over

Co-sign.
And what concerns Bryan Adams;I have a hate/love relation with his music.
I loved Reckless when it came out,but when he started putting out all
those ballads..well,I'm not saying all of his music is bad but
here in Europe he was all over the radio.
Women/girls were crazy about him and Summer of 69 is a classic overhere,
just as Paradise By the Dashboardlight(Meatloaf) it's always at the top
of some Top 100 of all time. And I just can't bear
2 listen 2 it anymore.

It's definitely the first one I really love. I find Promiscuous to be one of the most overrated songs in recent memory, but then I'm not really a fan of freestyle.

This one has me intrigued...

These are the "Maneater" remixes that are floating around:

Waata house mix
Peter Rauhofer Reconstruction remix
Richard Vission club mix
Richard Vission dub
featuring Lil Wayne (remix)
featuring Da Weasel

I'm sure the ones that are getting the most play are the Rauhofer and Vission versions.
