How big a Bowie fan IS Beck? Hehehe, I just spent some time making edits to Bowie's Fill Your Heart and Andy Warhol, as the cd markings do not match where I think one song should end or start.
So, remember that synth intro to Andy Warhol, the high pitched succession of sounds? Now go listen to Beck's New Round offa The Information. Halfway, at around one minutes 47 seconds, this eerie synth comes up... almost EXACTLY that intro sound of Andy Warhol... it sounded close enough that I started checking if my editing program was still playing Andy Warhol while I was listening to New Round. Then the song ends in a way that kind of resembles the Andy Warhol; Beck talking like Bowie did in the Warhol intro... That cheeky Beck.

I have no idea, but I saw Bowie on TV yesterday and he looked hot. Fantastic for his age. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

I suppose he is a big Bowie FAM. He is. He's mentioned him in countless interviews. I think he once described Midnight Vultures as his Young Americans. Plus, he did those strange remixes of Bowie's "Seven". Cool stuff.
