This is surreal...I was gonna do a thread about this song a few days ago!!! I swear,you are reading my mind! My sister got me a 70s movie for Christmas.....a 1973 animated film called 'Heavy Traffic' and throughout the film,they play "Scarborough Fair" by Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66.I thought "I gotta do a thread on this"...lol...you beat me to it.

This is the movie I got for Christmas...it's from 1973...


I'm still trying to decide if I like the film,but I love "Scarborough Fair"

that's usually how a lot of ralph bakshi's movies are, though. heavy traffic is okay, but i like coonskin better.

I throw this record on sometimes when I have some friends over to the house. It's a pretty neat album, but not a pivotal jazz album, imo.
