I agree.I think she could really pull it off. you guys are probably right. the days of finding an actor with the right "feel" or "soul" for a bio pic are over. we're not living in the days of sisssy spacek NAILING the role of loretta lynn or angela bassett kicking ass as tina turner. it's more about reese witherspoon winning an oscar for playing june carter cash, because "she was so gosh darned charismatic!" 
so whatever. cast britney spears as debbie harry and 50 cent as chris stein, i'll go see the shit either way. | |

Kirsten and Debbie have the same teefs, but that's about it. It's a waste. Just make a great documentary instead.
And since somebody mentioned since Julia Roberts in this discussion (though not as a possible to play the part) I must make mention that both Debbie and Julia were in that terrible Satisfaction movie that I love so much.  Oh and they played second fiddle to Mallory Keaton. | |
