"Le Disko" is a cool song, I've been playing it on my net radio since this summer. I'm glad they are finally getting some popularity. I saw their album in the iTunes Top 10 last night. Very cool! cool

"Le Disko (Radio Edit)" was the Free Song of the Week @ the iTunes Music Store this past Tuesday. That might have a lot to do with the surge in sales.

I have heard "le disko" before.

I found out that a member of the group, Chad Petree, used to be in PC Quest, who put out a few albums (that of course I love)

It's cool he is still in the biz. I think he was the lead singer back then? He had a good voice.

PC Quest, they remind me a lot of The Party... did they have a similar sound?

Sort of. They were George Tobin's group, trying to do what Maurice Starr did with NKOTB and produce the whole thing himself (though is staff writers, write the songs.

Tobin was Tiffany's producer, but they have less of a hard edge to the party. However, I prefer them. They were a little odd, as they put in some AOR rock songs aswell on their second album. Whats even stranger is how a song sung by the female of the group is a very personal one. She did not write it mind you. Its called "nothing but a fool", and is about a one night stand. Hardly appropriate for an underaged teen, but her voice rocks on that song.

I would love them, but you need to appreciate soft rock, aswell as synthy, drum programmed pop, to enjoy these guys.

I'm really loving their album! smile

Very electronic, dance, techno, rock. My friend saw them live, opening for 30 seconds to Mars and they put on a pretty good show too.
If you will, so will I

I looked. No chance. Their albums are dirt cheap though.
