I saw that shit last night and everyone on the show sounded like complete idiots. If you think you can rap, fine, but don't make your voice sound fake and like a complete idiot to do it.

They aren't the only ones that change their voice and talk fake though. Black people do it too. They are trying to sound like all these other rappers out there. I can remember when rappers had smooth voices like radio announcers. Hell, I've seen black people walking around down here in Mississippi with fake ass Bronx accents that have never been further than Memphis.

Hopefully, these fake idiot sounding white kids are making some of these fake idiot sounding black people see how they are sounding too. Be your damn self! Enough with trying to be like everyone else.!

you know what, you are right about people and fake accents. i've noticed over the past 10 years or so that people from ny have southern accents all of a sudden. my beautician who is from oakland has the strongest southern accent i'v ever heard in my life. also, i want to say that melle mel has the best voice in hip hop ever and he spoke clearly and enunciated his words. something you never hear in hip hop these days. my husband who is a brit also thinks lady sovereign's accent is also exagerated to make her seem like she came from the streets. why do people try to sound stupid? is that supposed to be cool?

I'm just sick of reality shows, period. Reality shows are to TV what shit hop is to music....something cheap to throw together and hope people will like it. Shit hop has no need to spend money on instruments and band members. Reality shows have no need to spend money on studios, cars to blow up, all the different props throughout a show, clothes, makeup and hair people, actors with big egos, etc. Just throw a bunch of amateurs in a room together and film whatever the hell they do. I guess next they'll be filming people sitting on the toilet.

There's Something About Miriam was a reality television show filmed in 2003 and aired in the UK on Sky One in February 2004, in Australia by Network Ten in May 2004 and in Poland by TVN in January 2005. It featured six men wooing bachelorette Miriam Rivera, not knowing that she was a pre-operative transsexual woman.

Producers warned the contestants that there "would be shocks and surprises along the way..." This led contestants to wonder about Miriam for the first few days, even jokingly suggest that "she was a he". A spokesperson claims that producers never referred to Miriam by her gender identity or biological sex. However, the Australian promotion of the show uses the byline "she is a he," which may be considered offensive by some members of the transsexual community.

Throughout filming, the "leggy" Mexican native and contestants got to "know each other as friends and had a lot of fun", according to Miriam. In response to allegations that she revealed her big secret by lifting up her skirt, she was quoted as saying "I want to say that I would never lift my skirt up on national TV. My mother brought me up very well."

Following the completion of the show, the contestants sued the producers of the show, resulting in a cash settlement of £300,000 for each contestant. Miriam herself went on to become a guest in the fourth series of Big Brother Australia.

The male contestants on the show were: Dom, Scott, Aron, Tom, Mark and Toby. Tom eventually won the prize money and the trip with Miriam, which he agreed to at first, then rejected the offer later in the show.

I just wrote an article about this show on associatedcontent.com. It isn't published yet, but I made the same point. It'll be hard for any of the crunk/ghetto fabulous hip hop artists today to dismiss anyone on this show in the name of keepin' it real. If anyone but MC Serch/3rd Bass or Em was hosting, it would definitely be leaning towards a minstrel-type show.

a great show actually and i can't believe that one guy just refused to write anything.....and isn't it a shame American Idol doesn't include rap?
