The White Rapper Show

I know some of you must have seen this show last night on VH1 with host MC Serch. What do you guys think of it? I think it's interesting and also weird. I think that chick Persia has skills but why do I eevn think that? Is it because she's so hard? I don't know thoughts anyone??

What's up with that kid and the Ghetto Revival? He was cracking me up with that.

i was at least happy to hear her feel sorry for using that word. however i bet she won't stop saying it. she did look pretty silly with that big as chain around her neck. another funny moment was the very end when Dasit got kicked off for not writing a rhyme and then being escorted out by a roach and a can of roach spray. who the hell thought of that? that shit was funny!

Seriously...I just shook my head in dissapointment! It's the same on Spanish TV...which is why families are still so ignorant when it comes to gay people. They believe all the sterotypes.

shame!

I can't believe this show is on t.v. And I can't believe that I have stooped so low as to watch it. lol The show had me cracking up and my husband kept walking past me and shaking his head in disgust. lol And to make matters worse, I watched that idiotic "I love NY" after I watched the "white rapper show." I've sunk to a new low. disbelief

What was up with Persia jumping on that guy for nothing and calling him a N*****. What the hell makes a white person think it's ever O.K. to use that, no matter where you grew up. I couln't believe she did that. I was so glad when Search checked her ass. I think that she is the most talented rapper on the show though. She just needs to learn that not all black people are cool with anyone using the N word, and using it does not make you appear more "hood."

Oh my lord. I could not believe NY's gay assistant. I just can't believe they went there. And what was up with the one black dude with the one layer of tangled weave glued to back of his head. And why the hell did NY keep that ridiculous looking fool and kick the big sexy bald guy off? whofarted
U know Chance's loud ass is going to be around for a while. lol He's like the male version of NY. Nothing but drama.

i was thinking the same thing about Chance. she loves him so far and he pretty much is the male version of her plus he makes for great tv drama, so he'll be around for a while. what's up with Romance and his obsession with his dog? homeboy is crazy!

People think this show is sooo funny but I think its stupid and borderline offensive...maybe Im just 2 serious or w/e but who thinks up stuff like that? Its ridiculous...and notice how they showed the guest rapper and it was Fat Joe...I definitely dont see Jay or Nas even touchin this show.I cant belive that chick said the N-word.I didnt even watch the show but the fact that VH-1 used that snippet as the commercial 2 promote is DIIIIRTY.I wish me and my friends were there just 2 beat her down :disbelied: pissed Like I said in P&R I know that it was gonna get worse with the N-word in the media. Its like its nothin now...it makes me soooo mad eek

i know what you mean. i actually find the show kind of offensive as well but i guess i wasn't sure how to say it. it is entertaining to watch and interesting but it's true that most of these shows are becoming more and more dumb. i do hope at some point people will stop using that stupid ass word but i can't see it happenining any time soon.

I was uncomfortable by that girl saying that word so freely. Maybe she has grown up and been around black/brown people her whole life...but it's just lame and tired at this point. I refused once again to take the high road and watched the repeat last night to see what I missed (that was punishment alone...but I cant stop watching now!) that 'King of the Burbs' guy is the token asshole and he really has no clue...I dont think I have a 'favorite' that I'm rooting for but I do give props to the guy who called out the girl for saying 'N' so many times...but is it me or did he not look like he had just snorted a couple of lines before they filmed him saying that?!

As for I LOVE NEW YORK...dont think I'll watch it...

Unfortunately I think a lot of white people think we all say that word so if they say it around us we're accepting of it and they're "down" but guess what? I don't like anyone of any race or color saying that shit to me. A white guy in a bar last week when I was in NY dropped the N bomb whilst talking to me and my husband while he was trying to explain how he didn't like how politically correct everyone has become and remembers when people said the N word without people getting upset. I didn't say anything because it was late and I was very tired but I didn't like that he said that to me and was pissed.

Honestly i caught 2 minutes of this show and was offended that i was watching that much of it, and then i caught a few minutes of that Horror show I love you NewYork which should be offensive to every race and just furthers stereotypes. The good thing is that living here in New York i have heard that the City of New York has objected to the use of the phrase "I love New York" since her name isnt legally New York nor is the show have anything to do with New York, and the city is possibly going to sue VH1 for its whole premise, so expect some kind of switch or early exit or disclaimer coming soon.

You think that's bad, ok, I'm going to make light of this.... I can't stand when non-black people feel they have to speak or type on the internet (i.e forums, emails, etc) or elsewhere in "Ebonics" to relate to me...I want to wear an "Alert" sign that says, "All black people do not speak like that..please stop!" lol

Ok, ebonics is just another form of slang, just like any other slang that is used between different cultural groups, and mostly used by youth,. I want to wear a another sign that says: "Please people, don't feel you have to use ebonics when speaking to me in person, on the internet or any other form of communication, it's not necessary, it's perfectly alright to use correct grammar usage when you want to communicate with me. Speaking ebonics to me will not make me accept you any more or less or think that you are cool, compared to communicating to me when you use correct grammar...thank you kindly for your cooperation! " lol
