Voices of Latin Rock---a cool book I got for Christmas

I'm reading this book right now and I'm very impressed. If you are a Santana or Malo fan, this book is a must-have.It covers their entire history. The book also discusses Mandrill,Azteca and several other Latin rock bands.LOTS of rare photos, album covers,interviews....this is a very good book,I can't put it down.

Does it cover modern Latin-rock bands also?

surprisingly,it doesn't.Groups like Mana and Ozomatli are mentioned, but only briefly. The main focus of this book is on Santana and Malo.

That's too bad. I would have been interested if there was more modern coverage. Rock en EspaƱol/Latin alternative bands today don't get enough exposure.
