one of my fave songs by her.

I actually remember that episode, she played the looney tune I love that song, my FAVE from glitter.

She made the BEST suits of her music with Walter Afanasieff(That song is actually an outtake from the Butterfly sessions).

After she got divorced though, they STOPPED collaborating. I'm hearing alot of things and I don't know which ones are true, but I remember him being interviewed in an Entertainment Weekly feature cover where he dissed her new "then" direction post-Butterfly.

Hope they reunite, he's the ONLY one who really showcased her range and knew what she's all about.

I really wonder what happend to them.

She hinted several times that the main reason behind them parting ways was him betraying her by leaking the stuff she trusted him on 2 the powers that be LOL as she put it.

As 4 him claiming they parted due 2 different visions, she stang him well later on by stating that she just wanted 2 do more than the schalmsy type of music she's been doing with him 4 so long

I never had any doubt about her vocal talent,damn even some of the biggest rockstars admitted she has a great voice!
It's the music or slick production most dislike.

Anyway,I started 2 appreciate her from the 2nd half of her career,since Butterfly and if we compare her with today's female singers,I don't see this talent around! (Christina is the only one that can really sing!)

What's interesting though is that about 3 years ago when E! channel did a programme on MC's journey, Walter was actually one of the interviewees.

also when she was asked on the Sundance Festive press conf. if she'll ever team up with him in the future and she answered "why not". So maybe there'll be a reunion one day

i agree.

But i could see where she's coming from though, 'cause she's been marketed as a "balladeer" 4 so long so she wanted 2 tone that down a little bit (not ditch it all 2gether).


I also doubt that she actually hates their collabos as she covers most of'em in her tours setlists, it was obviously just a figure of speech 2 pass on a "sting".
