As I've said in the past, I own all of Madonna's albums excluding Confessions and a great many of her singles, too. Now as I've always said, I didn't like the album from the start because it was way too derivative for her. I've said I'd rather listen to I Feel Love than hear Madonna sing over the same beat and call it original. I didn't like Hung Up. I liked Push, Sorry, Get Together and a few others. Now I only like Get Together and think it's the only track on there that stands up to her previous output. Some inconsistency, that is. The fact that I didn't like one of her albums seems to have sent people off the deep end.

No, it is suggesting that Madonna's talent does not lie in vocal acrobatics. Which it plainly doesn't. That thread was discussing Mariah's show. I said Mariah could only have her voice and she could have a show if she had any stage presence at all (she doesn't). If I wanted to say Madonna has no talent, I would say "Madonna has no talent"!



You don't care what I think, but you wish my views were a little more consistent....yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

The only inconsistency that has been shown on this thread is that my opinion of two songs changed over the course of a year.

You said "hasn't everyone" which pretty much sums up your thoughts of her. You think she's a whore. Well let me tell you that sleeping with lots of people doesn't make you a whore. In fact many people do it. You see, it's like going shoe shoppping. You've got to try on a lot of shows until you've found the ones that look good on you and feel confortable. And after a while those shoes you bought get worn out. So you've got to get a new pair. SO THERE. Madonna is not a whore.

Oh and you said Madonna couldn't sing or dance once or twice. So what does that leave left? Marketing? Is that all you think Madonna can do? If so you're saying Madonna is untalented artistically. There you go VC.

I remember that thread. No, I did NOT say that she couldn't sing or couldn't dance. I said she is not a great live singer and that I do not consider her or Janet artistically in the same league as Michael Jackson, Prince etc.
