One of the greatest pure vocalists of the 20th century. Her voice is surely one of the greatest sounds to the ears of mankind. A woman that can do so much with a few notes. Her mastery and command of moods on her recordings is a SOUND to behold. She has influenced many female jazz and R&B singers (like Anita Baker and Dianne Reeves). Her many recordings including my favorite by her SWINGING EASY WITH SARAH VAUGHAN AND HER TRIO will continue to delight and amaze for years to come
