Cher's "The Gunman" | Heart-breaking ballad of the nite

bawl bawl bawl bawl

For love is a gunman and no mercy has he
Hell hunt you down until the day death sets you free
Love is a gunman and hes coming to town
Youll met his glaze both barrels blaze
Staring you down
Love is the gunman and no mercy has he
This time his sights are set on me

bawl bawl bawl bawl

Yes, it is vastly superior to the US release.

Like WAY. The US one tried to dumb it down with some sub-standard "Bedtime Stories" ripoffs.

I wasn't trying to! And it's not, just cuz I mentioned her. I thought the album got better once it was less Madge-like.

It's too late! lol I can feel the thread slipping away from us now.

I actually like Cher's version of Walking In Memphis...didn't like the original. I might actually like the Heart of Stone album a little better than this. hmmm Let's just say they are equally good.

I love faux-metal babe Cher too. But this is such a solid album all the way through. I can't think of a single filler track.

If I Could Turn Back Time is probably my favorite track from her, so I have a special affinity for that album.

Okay, I have the US promo with the US album version of One By One on it.....whofarted W.T.F. I hadn't listened to that shit in years. Why did they totally fuck up the mix lol? At least The Very Best of Cher (2-disc edition) has the original on it. The single disc however has some fugly Junior Vasquez Mix.
