"Would That Make U Love Me" and "2 the Sky" are my 2 favorites, but the album is hot! I have to admit my profession makes me feel a little weird about liking "Teach U a Lesson." "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Complicated, 2 The Sky, I Need Love, Cocain, Ask Myself,, that album is PACKED with heavey stuff indeed
Though i'm pissed off that gems such as Superman, In My Dreams, Highschool Man & Threesome didn't make the final cut. The reason i dedicated this thread 2 Teach U A Lesson, however, is that it's the only track that sends me 2 another world with that awfully smooth & mellow vibe that it's got

& Do tell how much you liked'em later on, if you may I'll try. I'm in hardcore Donna Summer mode right now, so it might take me some time to digest 'em. But once I do, I'll report back.

this CD is fab-u-lous!! from beginning to end!!! there are sooo many lil gems throughout each and every song. love it love it!! i am just sooo happy to have such a great "mature" album to listen to. i've been telling everyone about him.
? - i've read that he's written songs for artists like Brian McKnight, Christian Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Usher, among many others. does anyone know which songs he was involved in. i searched but came up empty. thanks! music is its own reward - Sting

he's been behind the scenes 4 so long as a songwriter/producer untill he released his debut circa 2000 i believe. He's a Marvin fanatic which you can tell from the sound of his sophomore album, in addition 2 Prince. What i dig about him most though is that it is difficult to lump him into a certain category as he does almost everything (which you can tell mainly from his banging debut) He's Alan Thicke's son btw.

It's a great album.
His wife is fucking stunning But you know she will get no play in the mainstream because they allow only one black actress to dominate the roles at any given time and that is Halle Berry at the moment.

And Gloria Loring's ("Friends & Lovers") as well. Robin's parents wrote the theme songs to "Diff'rent Strokes" and "The Facts of Life" (with Gloria singing the latter). "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

You can also hear him a bit in the backing vox too...

I like Shooter which really surprised me since I cant stand Lil Wayne and didnt really need to hear any rapping on the album but it I almost look forward to it. Maybe because I loved his live performance of it. Knowing it was based off of a real-life experience gives it a personal touch too from Robin's perspective rather than Wayne's whichi is who I imagined it was from. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

All Night Long doesn't fit either since it just sticks out like Shooter in the wrong way... I like "All Night Long" in spite of Lil' Wayne. Amazingly enough, I've grown to tolerate the new version of "Shooter," but the original is still much better. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
