No matter who played her, i would see it. nod

In any case, i hope they would leave Ross herself out of it, i don`t think anyone would be interested in a biopic based on "Secrets of a sparrow"...

I'd see a film based on a book about a marginally talented, double crossing sparrow. nod

And, yes, she does resemble Miss Ross.

If there will be a Diane biopic, I can assure ya'll it won't be based on her autobio nod

Folks wants to see blood, sweat, tears and anger,,,,that book portrayed Diane as an idealistic queen and folks couldn't be fooled by that.

Don't we already have films like 1975's Mahogany and 2006's Dreamgirls that summarizes her life?

Dreamgirls isn't an accurate summary of that chapter in history any more than Life Is Beautiful is an accurate summary of life in a concentration camp.

What director could actually tell her story on the silver screen truthfully? I mean, there have been many stories about her relationship with Berry Gordy, her fallouts with Florence Ballard, and how her ego soured peoples' judgment about her. If someone ever decides to do a biopic about her life, lets hope there is a segment about that 1983 Central Park incident...

I don't think anyone should attempt a biopic based on her entire life. Too much drama. Just choose a certain period and make a good picture that actually develops one element instead of trying to cram everything in.
