I thought it was alright. Their not really songs as much as they are a chance to hear Eddie jamming with his guitar along with some other P-Funk musicians such as Bootsy Collins and with The Brides Of Funkenstein providing the background vocals. If you enjoy the classic P-Funk sound and of course Eddie's guitar playing then you should probably try to get it, especially for his interesting cover versions of 'California Dreamin' and 'I Want You'. To me however, I feel that Eddie's guitar playing was better and stronger on the Funkadelic albums than on his solo album. He defiantely does plays his guitar on this album though so please don't get me wrong with my own personal opinion.

Hope I helped you out with your decision somewhat.

It's a great and classic LP. I know you can get it on Ebay and Rhino records recently re-released it (after the P-Funk fans begged Warner to release and wouldn't). Another great one if you can find it is "Rest In P". Eddie has a lot of long and extended guitar workouts on that CD.

I have actually been trying to get a hold of that 'Rest In P' cd. The songs 'Until It Rains' and 'From The Bottom Of My Heart' have a very beautiful and lovely sound to them from the 30 second audio samples that Ive heard of them.

This album was re-issued recently by Collectors Choice Music. The rhino edition was a limited edition, and sold out pretty quickly, I heard. the Collectors Choice version is the same, from what I hear, but without the bonus tracks on the Rhino version
