I don't remember where I heard or saw it. It just made me laugh. As mentioned earlier, the whole "There's no such thing as bad publicity" may have just been proven false.

I'm surprised they didn't shut the fansite down two years ago. She hasn't done anything in the past two years except be pregnant and married to K-Fed. What were they posting about on that site..."Look, Britney's in the tabloids...again." I don't understand what else there is to really like about her at this point...of course, I didn't understand what there was to like about her in the beginning. She sings sugar-coated sex lyrics and sells them to 9 year old kids...oh yeah, she's real talented rolleyes. IMO, her songs are worse than any hip-hop or rock song ever written, because they are directed at such a young fanbase and I've seen too many little girls dressing like hoochies and saying they love Britney, so they dress like her. I do put half the blame on the parents for not telling their little bad asses that dressing like a $20 hooker is pathetic, gross, and sad; but I also think that Britney deserves the other half of that blame. Artists who have sexually-themed lyrics get Parental Advisor stickers slapped on their albums, so I don't see why they haven't done the same to Brit-Brit's stuff.

All pop songs are at have some sexual suggestion that isn't as subtle as it used to be. The stickers are often resereved for "bad words". It's all bullshit. I understand that Britney should have her own social life and all so I don't see shuting down the site right before she take a break, but at this rate, deliberatly entertaining people is the last thing on her mind, it seems!

It's sad that she has to have dozens of people telling her exactly what to do with HER career, like she's some kind of circus poodle or puppet. She's obviously not the brightest lightbulb in the box (I blame her parents for this). Whenever she tries to make a decision on her own, she falls flat on her face. She's one of the only people I've ever seen who lacks common sense AND book smarts. I just don't understand why soo many people admire her...she's average looking; she doesn't really write any of her songs. I've seen contestants on "American Idol" who can sing better than her and these are the ones on the outtake shows that don't make it to the next round. I've actually watched more than one of her concerts with an open-mind, and I don't call spinning around and high kicks dancing (but the lights, stage designs, and some of the costumes were pretty). I've actually tried to understand why she has made it as far as she has; and I still don't see it. I will admit that alot of her songs are pretty damn catchy, but I have a hard time giving her any credit for that, since she really didn't write or produce any of her biggest hits. Anyone could have sang those songs and they would probably still have been hits (I still wonder what "Hit Me Baby" would have sounded like if TLC had taken the song). Can someone please tell me what's soo great about this child?

Britney's movie was a flop! Period. rolleyes

According to IMDB (and Boxofficemojo), the movie cost $12M and made a shocking $37M in America alone! Considering it was univerisally panned and some of the shine was off Britney's career at that point (her singles weren't soaring up the charts). I'm shocked too, but that's considered not only not a flop, but a modest success. Most movies don't even make there money back in Amerian box office alone, yet shockingly, this did. It made another $23M in international box office. I'm not saying it's a good movie (I've never seen it and unlike "Glitter", it's probably not even "entertaining" enough to watch just to make fun of) but sorry, it was actually a hit. That being said, no won tried to repeat the success with her and when she was in Austin Powers 3 later that year (My God, why did I see this one in a theather) she was almost booed off the screen until Austin destoryed her or whatever and people cheered!

Fair enough, I'm wrong. But I don't see anyone trying to buy or rent the DVD of this film neither.

I was as shocked as you. I guess this movie wasn't a "Glitter" sized bomb...at least that was interesing to watch and goof on, though.
