Crowns and Titles James Brown-Godfather of Soul?
Aretha Franklin-Queen of Soul? Michael Jackson-King of Pop? Elvis Presley-King of Rock and Roll? Oh really, now? So that leaves these questions: Who's the King and Godmother of Soul? Who's the Queen, Godfather and Godmother of Pop? Who's the Queen, Godfather and Godmother of Rock and Roll? And who crowned all these folks to begin with? Do you believe in and recognize all these titles? I'm not so sure. | |

no he didnt..., iif im not mistaken elizabeth Taylor announced him at a music award calling him the king of pop rock and soul... and just took a path of its own... But he never called himself that, i don't even think Sony used it as a way to sell merchandise... I am a Rail Road, Track Abandoned

Im sorry Elvis is NOT the king of Rock & Roll, Giving that title to chuck berry would give it more prestige... But they're PR ploys, its a facade, they don't exist. no such thing as music royalty, cause their are a ton of musicians that can beat the pants out of those named... Theirs a one armed man in the Village new york thats been playing pop music for 20 years that sounds better than michael jackson, , he should be the real king of popbut hes not cause hes not famous and never wanted or could be. its all a matter of opinion, when it comes down to it. the media uses these titles to bring colors to the artist. paint nice pictures.. and anyone of these artist who actually believe their so called royalty status, their as ego maniacle as the people who created it for them. music biz is an industry of self righteousness I am a Rail Road, Track Abandoned
