Shockadelica or Every Shade Of Love for guitar playing? Ive been trying to check out these 2 albums by Jesse Johnson but don't know which one has a better representation of his guitar playing talents. I have already heard all of 'Bare My Naked Soul' and his 'Greatest Hits Album'. So can anyone tell me if I want to hear more of Jesse's guitar playing on any of his official album releases which one of the 2, Shockadelica or Every Shade Of Love, would you say is a better choice to go with? It depends what guitar style you like. Technically, Every Shade of Love wins hands down. The best of the bunch.
However, Shockadelica rocks out more. Actually, the best Shockadelica guitar stuff can be found on the 12" singles of She and Baby Lets Kiss, rather than on the album itself. .

Every Shade Of Love, for me. The guitar playing on "So Misunderstood" and "Love Struck" does it for me!

I will go with every shade of love. Love Struck, So misunderstood, and Just
Wanting You. Check out Fool's Paradise on jesse's greatest hits or the original b-side of baby let's kiss. Never heard anything like it. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
