No James Brown coverage on BET.

BET should be ashamed of themselves. I have rarley seen any mention of James Brown, besides the little ticker at the bottom saying he passed. A viewing of his body is being held at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem. I have to watch CNN to stay up to date.

If this were Jay-Z or someone who had just passed away, BET would have had about 7 specials by now.

There's no need to be surprised. BET stands for "Boring TV" these days. James may not be alive anymore but the artists that are featured on BET are the ones that are dead.

meh, give them time. to make up for the lack of continuous coverage they'll prolly poot out a special on james's life and re-run it at least 100 times before the year's over.

There was a special on BET Jazz last night. It was an old special that they re-ran.

It really shouldn't make any difference.

I mean James Brown is and WAS James Brown,,,ain't no ghetto welfare minstrel shows having TV network will add anything to his legacy whether they aired a special about him or not.

Fuck HNET b4 and after James Brown.
