Do you have any favorite duet albums?

Harlepolis

U just listed 'em all nod don't 4get about Marvin's duet LPs with Mary Wells, Kim Weston and Miss Diane the boss.

But here's my ultimate FAVE duet LP...

Listen to the instrumental "Mood" music Arif Mardin really delievered an atmosphere with the ultimate help of Donny Hathaway. I think Quincy produced couple of cuts in there as well, if I'm not mistaken.

I never thought of that album as a duet album,,,,simply coz there wasn't any sign of competition in there.

If it wasn't for the album title, I would've said that Trane sounded like one of The Duke's boys,,,,just like Johnny Hodges and Cootie Williams.

Let's say he was Duke's Paul Desmond on that record.
