MAN O MAN!! this track is just PURE FUNK!!! Michael really just tears it up on this one, if anyone doesnt have this i highly suggest you get it. Even if you like MJ just a little find it! It' 8 plus mintues of funk! after the 4 and some change mark is when the song really goes off the wall (lol) the first 4 mintues are the song we all know. but the next 4 are a GREAT funk jam! With Michael Jackson leading the band. With James Brown esk, "Hit me with it!!!" as the songs breaks into a funky guitar. Again in James Brown style the song fades and he brings back with the hornz! and the song gets even more funky. You can just tell he free styled it. I'm in love with this track! In fact i love ALL of MJ's extended mixes, there so much more funky. Smooth Criminal extended mix is amazing w/ it's bass!!. and Billie Jean extended mix is amazing w/ it's intro you can shave on as quincy jones put it, as well as MJ's break down at the end

I like the extended mix of Bad. I wouldn't say it's the funkiest thing he's ever done, but it's good.

They have it on amazon.com It's was re-realsed as part of the visonary singles. you can get it on the bad single of course. which contains the 7" and 12" versions as well as the video (dual disc).they sell at $11.99 since it's an import but u might be able to find cheaper on ebay or if u dont live in the states. 2 me it's a must have for any big MJ fan.

I still have the 12" that I bought when it first came out. After the "false fade" the music comes back a little louder than before.

I remember when Michael came to my city during the Bad Tour. The next day the DJ played THIS remix of Bad. People were calling in and reflecting on the concert and saying that it was a "once in a lifetime experience and everyone should experience it." I could hardly drive because the beat was so funky. People went crazy over the concert and hearing this remix on the radio just caused the excitement to increase.
