I've been enjoying the Zurich and Rome concerts as well. Now if I could just hear the Article 3 ep all would be good. I keep checking Best Buy and others and they have a listing just no actual release dates. Ughh.

Its interesting, there are certain elements of each (the Rome gig and Zurich gig) that really stand out to me...the guitarist playing on the Rome gig is AMAZING IMO...really stands out there. Overall the vibe of the Rome gig is a little more mellow and groovy like with the songs on the Rome gig being played in a slightly more structured way. Then on the Zurich gig, the overall vibe is more revved up, explosive and kinetic on everything really...songs seem to be played with a little more improv...

i love em both of course...and depending on what type of mood i happen to be in at the time determines which cd i pop in...

like i said this latest gig is from after the Rome gig and before the Zurich gig...though i think the lineup of musicians is mostly (if not all) the same as on the Zurich set...

btw i think her full length CD has been tentatively slotted for a mid February release somewhere (either Feb 14th or 15th)...not sure if that is a domestic (usa) release date or a European release date but i think its a European date...

Have you heard Article 3 yet? After hearing these concerts it's making me more anxious to hear the new studio stuff of which I can't find. And BTW, I am one who owns all her releases and will buy thus one as well when I can find it.

my favorite Meshell is LIVE Meshell though, so i just go ape for ANY live recordings i can get my hands on ...i'm hooked on that $#it!

follwup: many PC users were able to open the first zip file, but so far two reported they could not. so based on that, it doesn't seem to be a problem with the original zip file itself...a few options for those who couldn't open it, one suggestion was to make sure you have the latest version of winzip (i think its still a free dl)...and, since its possible that there may be a limit to the number of downloads per upload at the megasite, you may wanna just try the downloading alternate link that was posted later in that thread (the v2 zip contains the same gig, just re-zipped & re-upped)

for those of you who were having problems unzipping the file here's the link to winzip (windows users who used winzip reported that they were able to open thw file without any problems)
