FUCK NEW WAVE!!!!! All them Willamsburg and South Philly hipsters and emo-fags can have that shit. I've moved on to cooler things now. I'm into what we know as THE FUNK: James Brown, Sly Stone, Prince, The Gap Band, Isley Brothers, Cameo, Rick James, Lakeside, Central Line, Linx, Light of the World, etc. That's my shit, boyyyyy!!!!! 
OK, I was just kidding about my write-off of my favorite genre. Those of you smart enough to get my ironic sense of humor will know that I'll always love New Wave. In fact, Simple Minds second album, "Reel To Real Cacophony" has been in heavy rotation. Give it a listen. But I got's to have my FUNK!!!!
