Seems like 90% or more of all hip hop and r&b videos that are made these days just contain half naked, cheap-looking women shaking their things around ugly, fully dressed men with no taste. They're all the same. It's getting ooooollld. For how long is this supposed to go on? Those videos are just uninventive, boring, tacky, cheap and far from sexy... Please, those women need some more self respect.

I think,as a whole,most music videos are boring these days.I can't even recall the last time I saw a really outstanding video.In the 80s,you had Michael Jackson turning into a monster in his video,and you had Madonna kissing a black saint....really awesome stuff! These days,videos put me to sleep.The hip hop videos are the worst no creativity whatsoever.

The worst is when the so-called artist invite you to watch the making of the video. Like its something special. Now that's a snorefest.

Maybe.....just maybe it's time 4 music video's to END and get back 2 focusing on making MUSIC worth hearing.

i think videos a re so tasteless because the "artitst" who make them have no taste. i mean if you idols truly are pimps and tacky rocker form the 70's (the metal bands) then you really have no taste to begin with. dressing somethin up in nice clothes and shiny jewelry does not make it tasteful. the vidoes are trach bcos the people who make then are trash and want people watching to be jst as trashy - the jerry springer effect.

They're ridiculous. Almost every single one of them has:

• Half-naked women (mostly cheap looking)
• Pimped out cars (with the new trend being 80s cars)
• Sports jerseys
• Jewelry
• Guest appearances by EVERYONE

The first 4 items on that list are really what is destroying music videos and also today's youth - no creativiy whatsoever, and creating/sustaining a stereotype that most African Americans don't necessarily appreciate. Kids copy what they see in videos so it's an ongoing cycle.

These music videos make it seem that there are only 2 viable options for black youth: Rap music and professional sports. Then again, I highly doubt a video about lawyers/doctors would really sell that well.

The last item - the guest appearances. Enough already. One or two per ALBUM is OK, but now it seems like there are 4 or 5 guests per SONG. Get creative - stop sampling and stop inviting the entire block to appear on your song.

The cheap cars, the cheap clothes, and the cheap tramps must be in the videos for comedy because someone would have to be really hard up to be impressed by all that shit.

They flaunt those tramps with those nasty cottage cheese asses and then they have the nerve to not understand why gay men exist. Hell, if that's pussy, dick has got to be better.
