There were two videos for this song.One video features scenes from movie 'Streets Of Fire'.It shows a singing group onstage,lip-syning the song (Stoney Jackson plays the lead singer)...

some trivia about this song...
The late Dan Hartman wrote and produced this song and he offered it to Hall and Oates.He felt it would be perfect for them....it's the same type of blue-eyed soul that they specialize in.Daryl and John turned it down,Dan recorded it himself and it became a huge hit.Interestingly,in 2004 Hall and Oates finally recorded this song.It appears on their covers album 'Our Kind Of Soul' (a superb album,by the way). | |
