With around 31.000 MP's (and counting) that gets a bit messy quick, esp if you download so much as I do.
Here's my drive; And, for istance, the ROCK folder; Then I file Tori away as I showed before. It is, to me, the best way of storing stuff; easy to navigate.

Yeah, I only have about 17,000 files. Most are ripped from my own CD's. I used to trade a lot but not much anymore (no time). I bought an external HD for all that stuff.

I am a bit of the same; my own CD collection amounts to something like 13.000. I never had the right equipment to transfer all my vinyl stuff onto my HD. My external is heaven, but too small. I need more space. My bigger drive collapsed earlier this year and I still miss it dearly...

Unless you are REALLY GOOD, it's difficult to do good vinyl rips to mp3. I've tried. I can't. I have one of the old fashioned CD burners for my stereo, so the setup for burning from vinyl is perfect. I burn on CD first and then rip to mp3 files. I've never tried directly to my computer though, i imagine it would be a pain.

Hence your 'burn-to-CD'-necesity. It starts to dawn on me. An external drive for you would be heaven, I suppose.

"Break of Dawn" and "Heaven Can Wait" are the shit! Butterflies, dammit!!! But yeah, they're cool, too. Whatever Happens!

You are all killing me with those pictures . Since I still have 479 Christmase gifts to buy, I'll just put the iPod and Tori ~ ALL and listen to every lovely bit Gangsta put on there for me while I drive through the crazed traffic [Edited 12/21/06 9:06am] Music is the language of the spirit.
