The album artwork suggested she was going off into some totally edgy stuff and looks very European. Guess the artwork is misleading and it's the same old, same old! The music isn't bad but I guess that is explained by a sample, of course. Could've been worse....Could've been "Fatasialious"! Try saying that ten times fast! Try saying it conce! It's upsetting when the cover of an album, which isn't even that great seems 10 times more intersting than the album. See Gwen Stefani!

This definately detracts from her good girl from the hood who done good image. Well, no one ever said she was a genius. She just sings well.

I'll be the odd person out on this but I never liked her voice (sounds like she's about to hawk up a loogie while gargling broken glass). And she should rethink the monochrome make-up. It's just not becoming. By the way is dressing like a hooker the new in thing?

On a lighter note she seems like a very nice person. and I didn't know that
K-Ci and Jo Jo were her cousins.

I must admit when i first read the post and went to watch the video,
i feared the worst. The song is actually not that bad. Of course i am tired
like everyone else with these singers of today claiming their ghetto status
(monica included) instead of doing good music without all the references to
being a ghetto chick or wanting a thug boy. It is very tired. Nevertheless, i
have heard worse and i actually like the song's beat. You must also remember
she did the baby mama's song on the first cd. However; let's hope tasia step it
up on the rest of the cd and do what her momma patti taught her.

I'm only buying her album for that song "When I See You", I'm not really feeling the first single like I did with "Free Yourself"

KWAME's produced "Not the way that i do" IS FUCKIN HOT....the rest is questionable.....

I like her voice...it's hers like Stevie, Carly, Tina, Cher, and all other artist w/ their own unique voices. That what draws us to them. I'm like damn man not again. Why do we do this....ya know that's all cuz I'm about to get in to some real ranting.
