Sam was famous on "Star Search" in the mid 80's or so. He was a soulful white guy.

One of the funniest moments I've seen on television was when Jim Carrey appeared on "The Larry Sanders Show". The episode is about Larry Sanders, a late night talk show host, who has just announced that he's leaving the show. As a guest, he comes on doing his over-the-top Jim Carrey schtick and then he goes out into the audience as he sings "And I'm Telling You..." changing the lyrics somewhat so that it's more like, "And I'm Telling You (Larry Sanders)...You're Not Going". Jim Carrey was so animated and so into the song, it had me on the floor laughing. If you can find that on YouTube, it will be worth it. Proud member of the Naked Orgers Club | |
