I dig Loreena McKennitt and her new album is awesome!!!! For the fans you gotta check it out. It's similar to the Mask and the Mirror for me, I guess being a bellydancer, you dig all the beats. I'm also a sucker for drums, harps, lutes and ouds. I also enjoy her lyrics, even though a number of them come from old poems.

I can understand that when an artist is shoved down your throat all the time, it's easy for them to get on your nerves. None of the people in my circle have even heard of Loreena, so I enjoy it because she's a source of mystery for me. I have never read an article about her, nor do they play her music on the radio in my neck of the woods.
