With the Beethoven's Fifth sample. I used to love that song too.....but I think I like any song that samples Beethoven's 5th , like this mash-up I heard with Walter Murphy's one from the 70's and Kanye West's Gold Digger. I don't even like Kanye, but I like that mash-up. I thought he was better looking with long wavy hair too. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Could tolerate it the first 25 times I heard it on the radio, 100 times later and I now hate the song and quickly change the station or turn off the radio if I can.
Heard him live. Wasn't that impressed. I still can't get past the fact that he looks just like his dad Alan Thicke from "Growing Pains". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He seems sweet from interviews. He is very sweet! Too sweet to be in the music business. He's so considerate of others too. I talked to him for 30 minutes, just me and him. He's not presumptuous (sp?) at all.

That sounds like KBLX I hope KISS 98.1 adds it to their playlist too

I think the song sounds like Maxwell or Remy Shand.I could see either one of them recording this song.

love his new album, i love this song, but my favorite song off the whole album is "I Need Love"....that song gives me goose bumps up my spine when he hits those notes!!!

I dig the debut much more than this....he wasn't trying to be commercial. The first album kinda reminds me of Van Hunt, only because Robin wasn't fitting into any one genre of music.

On his latest CD,are there any other cool slow jams like "Lost Without You"? I like the stripped down, acoustic soul approach of that song.I'm thinking of buying his CD,I just hope there's not alot of hip-hop sounding tracks.

I remember this one rap song from a few years back that used it (the Walter Murphy version). I just checked the wikipedia page about it, and it was some guy called A+. That must have been his only hit. I totally remember that song though. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ar_culture "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

"Teach U A Lesson" is the closest to Lost Withiut U and it is the SHIT! Also, Would That Make U Love Me is nice, musically. There are no hip-hop sounding tracks. His r&b is more 70's style, with major emphasis on lyrics, instrumentation and arrangment. It's not that makeshift stuff on the radio [Edited 12/20/06 19:34pm]

I can't believe how much the songs remind me of Prince. I like them all but my favorite is In My Dreams. It's sooo Minneapolis. I think on those tracks a little and on the first album his voice sounds a little nasal but not on Evolution except for Lonely World. Weird. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

This is a beautiful, sensual song. I like it a lot. The album is also very good, and I hope his career continues on the upswing. Though Pharrell's fingerprints are on the album it still feels like his own creation and that he didn't rely on Pharrell to make a good record. He's good enough on his own, so I'd love to see him make music all on his own in the future.
And he looks much better with the short hair!

And he looks much better with the short hair! Pharrell only worked on one song. All other material is original and created by him and his collaborator Pro J (James Gass) as with his first album. Robin doesn't really work with other producers [Edited 12/23/06 0:48am]
