DJ Shadow - 'Endtroducing....' (Cinister???)

This album came out in 1998 but I've only picked it up yesterday! It's great, experimental music solely based on hip-hop beats & samples!! The proof of the fact that good hiphop is indeed timeless!

CinisterCee.....Whaddup???? This album is sooooo up your alley!!!

It's probably the best album he's ever done but my favorite of all time is definitely the 17 minute 'Entropy' on Sole Sides label

If you like Endtroducing, then definitely pick up "Preemptive Strike" and "Live! In Tune & On Time".

As far as old school style mixing goes, DJ Shadow is about as good as it gets IMO. I love all of his albums (except for "The Outsider").

There's no reason everyone shouldn't listen to this album. It is SO essential.

And since the 2-cd deluxe set was released, the single-disc pressings are way cheap.

Preemptive Strike is a must, after Endtroducing.

first released back in the last century, lol.

though i thought his latest album was kinda weak and yuckie confused
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The Outsider album is far from his best work.

Definitely not his best, but not as bad as lots of folks are saying either. I like the energy on a few of the hyphy tracks (or whatever you call that stuff) smile

Last I saw him, he was doing a live voice popping thing and reading poetry for a live performance act by Meredith Monk

He sampled her voice on Endtroducing; I didn't know they were down like that.
