I never cared for it. Like so many others, when they leave a group and go solo, they start making "soft" music. People in a group need to stay in a group. Andy is a four letter word. | |

Oh, come on now vainandy, be fair. His first single, To Prove My Love To You, was uptempo. I don't know too many artist that strictly record uptempo songs. | |

Oh, come on now vainandy, be fair. His first single, To Prove My Love To You, was uptempo. I don't know too many artist that strictly record uptempo songs. "To Prove My Love To You" was decent but it was far from that hard Con-Funk-Shun sound. Con-Funk-Shun had some great slow jams also. There was something about Michael Cooper's solo stuff, fast or slow, that just wasn't quite right. I guess it was because it was the late 1980s and everything was starting to sound more adult contemporary. Andy is a four letter word. | |
