She and Millie Jackson, were the only NASTY tongued ladies of soul who made it to semi-mainstream.
Shirley Brown, Barbara Mason, Peggy Scott-Adams, Denise Lasalle and Marlena Shaw couldn't reach Millie & Betty's fame statue nowadays. But these ladies opened the door for Kim, Foxy, Missy and all the TUFF talking women of RnB nowadays. | |
