SenseOfDoubt

Do you think of Bowie's/Eno's Heroes as being overproduced? This would come to my mind.

WHAAT?

Musicology was a suberb production but and awful mastering job which ruins the production; same as 3121 and Rave.

A perfect example is about 90% of the country music recorded...the instruments have been quantized to death and vocals at perfect pitch...when on the real...they can't hit HALF of the notes....MOST of the pop, country and R&B Cds in the late 80's and all of the 90's....
