10 AXE PLAYERS WHO CAN'T BE TOUCHED.

I know that this might be yet another topic about the greatest guitar players subject, but I would just like the chance to chime in on 10 axe players whose playing ability that I feel just cannot be touched by any other player in music.

So here I go in NO particular order, my picks are:

Prince
Jeff Beck
Peter Green
Frank Zappa
Ernie Isley
Jimi Hendrix
Eddie Hazel
Mick Taylor(possibley my favorite player on this list)
Jesse Johnson
Andres Segovia(just to pick one other player in another musical style besides rock)

I just think that this subject is always just really fun to get into and to hear the opinions of others on there own personnal choices, so in that sense I do feel that this subject matter never really wears thin(at least not to me that is).

Of course Im ready for anyone else to weigh in with opinions of my list and to offer thier own naturally.

He's been touched and surpassed.

McLaughlin is the greatest guitarist on Planet Earth, with Holdsworth coming up second, as far as I'm concerned.

Of course there is, I just mentioned rock guitarists mostly because it is what I most listen to and because that I feel this musical genre probably has the most diverse sounds coming from its many players.

Would you call Beck overrated? I think I have only read one person to say he was but everybody else seems to believe that he is the best and most inventive guitarist alive today. Im not saying I agree with him being the greatest but thats just what I here the overwhelming majority of guitar fans and guitar players say.
