PCD (Nicole) "Feelin Good" live, best female vocalist in a long time

Though i love the studio version of this song, LIVE in concert, accapella, nicole cannot be touched, vocally, at least by any of todays pop/rb vocalists. Not just because she is a old friend, but its true, this is not a put down of others more than praise where it is due. Her version of "Feelin Good" is amazing on record, but flawless on the stage, it makes you have hope for female singers to NOT SCREAM their notes. At one point in this song Nicole holds this note for about 13-15 seconds (the record is 23 a-ha) but its just a steady note, very jazzy, nightclub like, more like Sarah Vaughan then Beyonce or Christina.

clean that pussy hair off your mouth, Melody sings better than her live, so does Christina Aguilera. Good friend or not, your girl is only lead because of her decent vocals mixed with unique looks

Sorry gotta disagree, Melody cannot front a group because of lack of training and experience, that is the reason, Melody still has to learn to "Sing" and not scream which she does alot of, because she is trying to be like "_____" fill in the blank of todays top females.

PCD is basically Nicole solo. She has a great voice.

I only paid attention because they used my Siobhan's song, Bitter Pill in their album! Great album

Again, Nicole is like Ralph Tresvant she looks good in the group when she goes solo, it will be another story.

and you brag about ur relationship with Nicole like that is the only thing you have going for in your life, it is kinda disgusting,

Well to acknowledge your ignorance once again, its not a put down of other singers, its just the way it is, as far as "bragging", if i wanted to talk about half the people i know and have known and things i have done, i would need my own board, if you look back at my old posts through the years here you will see that i do work with the industry, and i wouldnt post specifics of a relation i have with Nicole as far as being friends or things i have heard from her and those around her, i wouldnt share those things or Brag as you call it, on a Message Board. And if u look back at any Pcd or Nicole post from me, i have never told a Specific, just menitoned her friendship, u may wanna do some research, ignorance gets you into things like iraq.

I know this is kind of off topic, but LastDecember do you know why Melody
is often absent during many of their dance routines? confuse

She doesn't really dance in the Buttons video, and she came out only at the end on the AMAs ???
If you will, so will I

Even as a raw talent, Melody does remind me of Christina, here and there. I wish Nicole could write a song for Melody that fits the little lady's persona very well.

BTW, have anyone else notice the Melody's "Susan" to Nicole's "Vanity"?

cool

Actually Melody isnt familar with the Buttons routine, at the AMA's she was actually supposed to just be featured the way she was, but she actually missed a cue and had to run out there, thats why it looked like some "Kayne West" attack going on stage the way she did, thats also why it sounded off too, her mic wasnt tested it was just turned up all the way, so it was really a very unorganized event run by ABC. Thats really the only reason i have heard, every now and then a doll misses a show, Kim missed a few weeks on the European TV tour but right now they are wrapping up the tour headlining with Rihanna opening and then they are going to be opening on the Christina Aguilera tour of the USA. I know people are always looking for them to be breaking up, but all i can say is that the tour with Christina is through may or june, and some point this year Nicole's solo work will be out, and then another PCD record. As i said before, Nicole is under contract as the lead singer, if Universal wants to switch and get another girl thats their call not hers, but as of right now universal isnt looking to break up this "Cash Cow".

Sensitivity
Do What I Gonna Do
Stone Cold Gentleman
Money Can't Buy You Love
Rated R
Yo Baby Yo
Who's The Mack
When I Need Somebody

These songs made Ralph an 8 hits wonder (The first 4 crossover to the Hot 100 USA singles charts).

cool

EDIT: BTW, Ralph promoted the album by touring the dance clubs & dance shows (The Party Machine, Club MTV, etc.) alive.

yo kill me, Who's the Mack and WHen i Need Somebody were single releases, that came and left, probably debut with radio play and left billboard.

Sensitivity is the only one that hit the top 30 of Hot 100 if i am not correct, so please leave it alone homie his solo career was one hit,

Why don't get off on your lazy ass and go search for the footages of Ralph's appearances on The Party Machine & Club MTV so you can see for yourself.

And BTW (....off the record), you don't know shit about a lot of things like talking about it and it shows, IMO! Study your music history so you won't sound so foolish next time.....rookie!

again there is a difference between single releases and hits, Stone Cold Gentleman didnt cross into the Hot top 20 or top ten it was 31 with red hot Bobby Brown on the single, Do What i Gotta Do didnt even touch the Hot 100,, they were singles not HITS, hits are songs people know from that era very well, go up to any common fan who was deep in that era i bet money he wont remember SCG or DWIGD, but he will remember Ralph lead single and thats it.

again learn the difference between a hit and single releases, your Prince fan for godsakes he releases numerous singles that werent hits

your not even arguing what i am saying he never toured off the LP, damn so when you do 106 & park, or TRL you are TOURING is that what you are telling me, do you know what you are talking about, these are Television appearances, not concerts, yo u are just screaming age, right now but i am done replying to you i will allow Vainandy or one of the older heads on this board to come and tell me if you perform on MTV dance club shows, then you were touring, if they believe that crap you wrote i will never post on this board

....and if you still believe that Sensitivity was Ralph's only (I REPEAT: only) solo hit, then I know for myself that you really don't know a damn thing about the history of New Edition or anything else outside of YOUR definition of "hip-hop" "funk" OR "R&B". Even LastDecember knows better than that!

Nonetheless, you don't know shit. And I bet more than half of The Org can see through your bullshit. End of story.

well I really don't even notice the other girls in the group, just Nicole....and for the record, I didn't even like them when they first came out, but their songs have grown on me, and i don't for the life of me know why, but i love that song they have with Timbaland, is it called "wait a minute"??? somebody help me out...

but the other girls are just like backup singers/dancers behind Nicole.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
