This album by Funkadelic is so sickening good until its crazy.....George Clinton was on such a musical plateau at that time. Its such a shame that he doesnt really and truly get his props as he JUSTLY deserves. The relevance of "Eulogy" now as it was back in '70 is almost frightening.

What an excellent album!

A masterpiece. Not only one of my favorite albums by Funkadelic, but it's one of my favorite albums of ALL TIME! Eddie Hazel's playing is fantastic. The mix of the album has this serious vibe to it. And the song "Free Your Mind" is amazing. That whole album, the way it's played, is what I call "Sloppy Tight". Everything is in the pocket, but it still has that looseness. Hazel's lead guitar work on the title cut is straight out Jimi's "Voodoo Child (Slight Return). NOBODY was coming close to Hendrix's sound before Hazel.
