Which Tour Is Your Favorite Of All Jacksons Adult And Mj Solo Tours?

Of all the tours you've seen on television, video, internet or live, wich one is your favorite?

Please rank preference and feel free to comment why you prefer certain tour.

This is my list:

1. Triumph Tour (Jacksons) - Best that I've ever seen. Michael's vocals and energy was amazing. Have never heard him sung better as an adult. The songlist was all soul. They had a brass-section (real trumpets etc). Michael still seemed to be a part of the Jacksons not only in a formal way. They need to put this out in good quality on DVD.

2. Bad Tour - Michael's first and definately best solo tour. It was his tour all the way. He was still at his peak as a performer and it was still all live.

3. Victory Tour - This could have been the best Jacksons tour ever only if they had captured the magic from Motown 25 with Jermaine back and all. Michael had evolved as a performer and it was Jackson-mania but the tour was sorrounded with controversy and although Michael did his best he was dissatisfied with how certain things came out. Still Michael sang great and he was at his prime and he had incorporated a lot of smooth moves. I also like that there was still freedom to improvise etc. Look at the last night when they did a long version of Shake your body.

4. Destiny tour Great vocals, good songlist, all live and much more spontanity and improvisation than the tours of the 90's.

5. Dangerous tour- Michael was still great but he started to be too calculated IMO plus he started to do playbacks on some songs.

6. HiStory tour - With few exceptions (WBSS J5-medley etc) it was all playback. Boring IMO. At least he danced well and put on a nice choreography but to me watching a concert I want that feeling of not knowing what to expect next, like when Stevie Wonder or Prince performs.

1. Triumph Tour - MJ at his peak without the lasers and swords...
2. Dangerous Tour - The best stage show he's ever put on, which is his weakness. Love these shows.
3. Bad Tour - The Hype was unbelievable, Huge Tour
4. Destiny Tour - dates were very limited, though some good european showa
5. Victory Tour - Over bloated, weak stage show
6. History Tour - lame, saving graces being SIM and BJ extended solo's dances.

Bad tour! Best look, cool outfits, at his peak as a dancer, all live. I've always been more fan of the solo adult Michael than with his brothers.
Dangerous was great too, but he screwed up Human Nature in a way only he can, with the hysteric dancing.. It's a ballad!

aside from adding and deleting songs what's the difference Mike's been doing the same show since he left Motown

They need to release dvds of these tours

- Triumph Tour
- Bad Tour
- Victory Tour
- Destiny tour

It baffles me how they neglect the prime years of our favorites artists (prince, MJ, JB, PFunk, etc)

I think thats true to an extent. When I have seen clips of the Truimph tour, it seems he has based his last 4 tours on that one tour. It's just that when he tours with his brothers he seems to interact more with the audience and he comes across as more natural and not so rehearsed and technical.

Having watched the J5 in Mexico 75(although Jermaine wasn't with them) that was so different from even the destiny tour, it was almost like an unplugged concert, without the audience requesting the songs. After the Truimph concerts, I would have loved to be at that concert because it was so raw.
