GIRLS ALOUD set guiness record for "Reality" turnouts

Though it seems funny that there is actually a record for this, POP UK group Girls Aloud have officially become the worlds biggest selling artists to come from a Reality show competetion. The Girls formed on a show called "Popstars" i believe which is similar to America's reality shows of that nature. But "Girls Aloud" have surprised many, now that they have actually been able to survive since early 2002, when so many others have faltered after just one release, Girls Aloud have just released a "Best Of" with 3 new tracks and are recording their 5th studio record. Though they have never been issued in the US Girls Aloud have topped such "reality" superstars like Kelly Clarkson,Carrie Underwood,Ruben,Clay and Fantasia in sales by a WIDE margin....still think the US is the biggest market?

katt

shake some kids today do not know what real music is.

Girl aloud can not sing live there music is over produced in a studio wouldn’t surprise me if the producers had to wear ear plugs while recording. They can not dance or play instruments either, all they are is pretty girls with no talent who happened to be at the right place at the right time who have a good manager and marketing team.

Girls aloud music should come with a warning "insert ear plugs now!!"

I have to say that enjoy alot their songs. Their production team, Xenomania, is the current equivalent to SAW.

It's pure carefree (with a small dosage of camp...) pop.

Exactly , i would take their stuff over 99% of what is on todays Hot 100 chart. Is it disposable POP, of course, but that is what POP is, catchy to the point, that is mainly the problem i have with RB/POP in the US, no one can do that, they all use the same beats, but the results are just boring, the US needs a leeson in pop again.

Stuff like Love Machine or Biology are certified pop culture classic imo!
