Brenda, one of the most underrated women at Motown, and definitely the sexiest. A casualty of Gordy's bullshit fascination with Ms. Ross. Anyway, this song was originally cut with Mary Wells on vocals, but when Wells left the label, they let Brenda re-cut it using the same instrumental and I think it was a Top 30 hit.

Brenda also wrote You've Made Me So Very Happy, which was a #2 hit for Blood Sweat & Tears in the late 60's.
