Kate Bush - HOUNDS OF LOVE

For a long time I thought The Kick inside was her best CD. Man was I wrong! Hounds Of Love might be the greatest music ever recorded!

My favourite songs:

1) Jig Of Life:
I dont even know what the hell she's talking about but it still is one of the most exciting music I heard

2) Hello Earth.
The most honest lyrics written about the human species ever. ''Murderer of the calm''. Love the choir!

3) Under The Ice.
The only track on the album which I can enjoy with my friends. They can't tolerate much of it. Very cold track. And for some strange reason I can only listen to it when I'm really happy.

And I'm loving the the Meteorological Mix of The Big Sky, on the remastered CD, with all those people trying to make somthing out of clouds.

hah! ''That cloud is nothing but trouble''. Pure joy!

What does everyone think of that album?

Nope. HOL is my fave ever album. Not a thing out of place and every song a winner. No album has moved me more.
Once Gangsta has the first two albums I'm gonna review the lot. biggrin

HOL is her best album, but by no means the best music ever recorded (such hyperbole befits Kate, though).

Yeah, well what is? It's all subjective. But from a songwriting point of view it's one of the most consistant albums I've ever heard.

I want something like the Eurythmics remasters. All her albums remastered in a box with bonus tracks. But they can leave off Aerial, since that was pooptoast

Aerial could do with a remastering 'cos the volume is ridiculously low.

And I can't believe you don't like it. It's a beautiful piece of work. Somewhere In Between is worth the admission price alone.
